Atticus's Story
Atticus started riding at CTRA in 2016 after moving to the Island from mainland BC. He had been involved in a Hippotherapy program as part of his physiotherapy plan as a young boy.
After arriving at CTRA he was eager to learn how to ride as well as using the 110 multi-dimensional movements of the horse to build core strength and increase range of motion to his hips and adductor muscles. Over the past 5 years, he has been growing in confidence and learning to connect with his horse as a partner.
Atticus’ story has been featured in a number of promotional videos and articles and he is a great Ambassador for therapeutic riding and equine assisted activities. Check out the episode of ‘Our Community’ below to get to know Atticus.
