The matriarch of our herd, Josefa is an elder Norwegian Fjord mare standing at 15 hand high. Josefa carries a wide variety of riders, from those who use the electric lift for mounting, to those who do walk-trot para dressage. Josefa especially adores riding over ground poles. Known for her talkative and sweet nature, Josefa takes her job as a therapy horse very seriously. She must have some great genes, because her daughter Valla works as a therapy horse at VTRA in Victoria!
