Frosty is a middle aged, 13 HH Welsh Arab cross. Island born and bred, Frosty spent his early years at a hunter/jumper barn. This dashing fellow is a favorite among our smallest riders and the volunteers who work with him. Grady is a CTRA’s resident “Gentle Giant.” At a massive 19hh, there’s no missing this Clydesdale/Quarter Horse cross! Grady can be found mostly helping out with vaulting lessons, but occasionally under saddle as well. His likes include children and snuggles and his dislikes include cardio. Grady was purchased for the CTRA program by Ann Lindwall and Foxstone Stable.

Jake is a small (13.2 hand), senior Welsh cross pony who believes that age is only a state of mind. Therapy work is his retirement gig after a long and impressive career as a pony jumper.

Josefa is a 15 hand high, middle-aged fjord mare who was donated to CTRA in 2013 by Anita Goodfellow. Josefa is hard working and gentle member of the team who takes her job very seriously. Josefa is sponsored by the Ladysmith Health Care Auxiliary.

Keagan is a younger, 17.3 hand registered Clydesdale. He is currently in training for vaulting and under-saddle work. Keagan loves attention and visitors. Leo is a 15.1 hand high middle-aged quarter-horse cross. He is a well-rounded school master originally from Smithers BC and partially donated by Loree I'Anson. Leo's alias is "Hollywood" as his sun-bleached good looks turn many a mare's head in the barn. As is appropriate for his name, Leo is sponsored by the Malahat Lions Club.

Tonka is a 16 hand high, middle-aged percheron/Arabian mare. Tonka's name comes from Tonka toy trucks and means "Great" or Big" in the Dakota-Sioux language. Tonka was donated by Bobbi-Jo Scharff.
